Design Subtropic Poster

Design Subtropic is an annual design festival held in Miami, Florida that serves as a place for designers to network and learn from each other and features 12 guest speakers. The poster’s goal is to use text as the primary visual element. Various fonts from the Futura family create text that resembles the sun setting behind a horizon represented by waves and a tropical-inspired color palette. The bold “Design Subtropic” below the typographic image stands out as the focal point of the hierarchy system.
